I partnered with @MCRCreations to create this shirt because I think this message is needed now more than ever! In the past, I’ve been in newsrooms where I was the only Black female producer. That shows there’s a need for more diversity in newsrooms. Having Black journalists in newsrooms brings a perspective that is necessary. We’re able to help educate our colleagues and viewers on the issues we are facing everyday, and have that message reflect in our newscast.
So lets make our voices louder!
